Gua Sha VS Jade Roller?

Ah, the topic of which beauty product is better. Well, that’s a little hard to answer in short. But, I will say this. Choose whichever fits your needs and lifestyle better!

I discovered both about a year ago, I did not dive into that world super fast and it took me a while to get behind one or the other. For me it’s the Gua Sha and here’s why.

Gua Sha - “It is most often used to relieve muscle and joint pain. Conditions of the muscles and bones are known as musculoskeletal disorders. Some examples include back pain, tendon strain, and carpal tunnel syndrome. Practitioners claim that gua sha can also benefit the immune system and reduce inflammation.”

I found that I was able to hit more targeted facial points with the Gun Sha and that it helped a lot with the areas of inflammation that I saw on a daily bases. Now, did it transform my face overnight? definitely not, but it did help over time. For most people, it probably won’t be a dramatic change but for many of us, it’s enough to warrant the use of it daily.

There are a lot of different routines for how to use it on what areas of the face, I suggest you look up someone who is a pro at using and teaching the art of Gua Sha. There are some good videos on YouTube.

The Jade Roller - “ Jade rollers gently massage the skin. This helps stimulate the lymph nodes to drain fluids and toxins from the face, temporarily reducing puffiness. Facial massage also stimulates circulation, making your skin appear brighter and firmer. Be sure to choose a roller in a nonporous material, like jade, quartz, or amethyst “ So much like the other one it is used to help drain the fluids and helps with circulation. I did not jump on the roller train only because in my lifestyle the Gua Sha worked better. I wanted something smaller and more convenient. However, both are equally good in their own ways. I may end up giving the roller another try at some point. I do try to mix things up in my skincare routine.
