Holiday Cocktails: Cranberry French 75
Tis the season for festive cocktails! And this one might be my new favorite Since you all asked for the recipe here it is. I found this recipe on TikTok and decided to try it on my own with a few minor changes. So without any further ado, here it is!
What you will need:
1.5oz Gin
0.5oz Elderflower Liqueur
1oz Cranberry Simple Syrup
0.5oz Lemon Juice
Top off with Prosecco
Cranberries and Rosemary or Sage ( for garnish )
I started with using a small cup/glass to mix all the ingredients together because I found it much easier than in the coupe glass itself. So I mixed in the Gin, lemon juice, Cranberry surveyor, and Elderflower Liqueur. After I mixed those together I tossed it into the cocktail glass and filled the rest with prosecco.
I made this cocktail about 5 or 6 times at a party and midway through I got the idea to add in 1 small fancy ice cube at the bottom of the glass because it had cranberries and rosemary in the ice. It just made for a cleaner garnish look that wasn't moving as much. What that did for the taste was probably nothing but it looked very pretty!
You can garnish this however you would like. I did some with sage and some with rosemary. I think in the end everyone liked the rosemary a little bit better.
This is a very easy-to-make cocktail. It looks beautiful with the red color in the cute glass. It was a hit at the party and I think I will definitely be making it again.
